Currituck Chamber 2023 Business & Vendor Expo Featuring Job Fair
The Currituck Chamber Business & Vendor Expo featuring Job Fair is a unique event showcasing businesses from all over the county and region. Vendors include businesses offering services, products and goods, and artisans who specialize in unique handmade offerings.
“This event is really designed to showcase a variety of regional businesses and non-profits,” said Josh Bass President of the Currituck Chamber of Commerce. “There are many businesses showcased that are well known as well as some that are doing amazing things that many people don’t know about. This is a great opportunity to highlight these businesses and for the public to find out about them.”
Many of the businesses featured in the expo and vendor show will be hiring for jobs as well. Some of the job offerings are full-time year-round, some will be part-time, and some will be seasonal just for the summer. “This event is a great way for teenagers who are just entering the workforce to come out and learn about summer jobs and to talk to a variety of employers. At one event they can meet lots of different businesses and find out more information for potential summer employment,” said Bass.
“This year we really want to put a focus on our local artisans and craftsmen. There are unique and beautiful items being made in the region, and this event is a great way to showcase them. We plan to have vendors set up around the event,” added Bass.
This year’s Expo is the 22nd annual event. The Currituck Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit business membership organization helping to promote businesses and organizations in Currituck County and the surrounding region.
