As one year comes to an end,
Another three sixty-five begins
A happy, Holy, New Year is my wish for you
Let your hunger be satisfied by the Lord
And by Jesus may your thirst be slaked
No bread, milk, coffee or even cake
Will satisfy your hunger and your thirst
The way that only Jesus can
So as this new year begins
