Faith
Faith, a word so often used
But do we truly understand The depth and power it can wield The strength can lend a hand
The old hag sweeps the floor Of an eloquent resort unseen By the residents, she goes ignored But her faith remains keen
She believes in something greater Something beyond this mortal coil And though she’s often treated as a traitor She remains faithful and loyal
For faith is not about recognition It’s about an inner conviction A belief in something unseen But no less real, no less keen
So let us all take a page From the old hag, sweeping away For faith, it is a powerful force One that can change our course
